My mission as a personal trainer is to help clients take control of their health, build confidence, and become the best version of themselves—physically and mentally.

Fitness has always been a big part of my life, but my real passion lies in helping others experience the long-term, life-changing benefits it can bring. I've gone through my own transformation and understand first-hand what it feels like to start from scratch, feel unsure, or face setbacks. That journey is what drives my approach: supportive, motivating, and always grounded in real-life experience.

Having worked with a range of trainers myself, I’ve seen what makes a client feel truly supported and empowered. I aim to bring that same energy to every session—combining professionalism with empathy, fun, and a personalised focus on your goals.

I have just signed up for a further 12 sessions with Maggie. I am a 62 year old lady who would like to improve my strength and body shape. I have never really used the free weights before . Maggie has shown me how to use them and by slowly increasing the weights with thoughtful encouragement, my strength is improving. I have done Pilates for years so Maggie tailors some exercises to incorporate Pilates aswell. I love that she listens to me and can suggest alternative ways of achieving my goals. I now love free weights and would strongly recommend training with Maggie.

I have been going to the gym three times a week for nearly 2 years. Although this time has benefitted me, I hit a plateau and needed a different approach to make further progress.
Following a taster session with Maggie I signed up to 12 sessions and am already noticing a difference. I am round shouldered and have had frozen shoulders in the past. Maggie has helped me to improve my posture and stabilised my shoulder muscles. In addition, my abdominal muscles are weak and Maggie has helped me to improve my core.
When I am in the gym without a personal trainer my workouts have been transformed as I never used to warm up or cool down. In addition I was not using some of the gym kit properly such as the pull down and the abdominal machines.
Some of the exercises that Maggie has taught me can easily be done at home as well.
Bit by bit Maggie is transforming my posture, strength, coordination and balance. She is a kind, knowledgeable and fun personal trainer, but she does have a tough side to ensure that you keep pushing yourself safely to the next level.
I highly recommend Maggie as a personal trainer as she will get improvements out of you that you won't be able to make on your own and you will have a lot if fun on the journey!!

I highly recommend Maggie She’s very skilled and taught me how to perform the exercises correctly. I’ve noticed a real change in my body since I started training with her. She’s also super easy to work with, supportive, and creates a comfortable environment. If you're looking for results and a great experience, definitely train with her!

I’ve had a few personal training sessions with Maggie and have been really impressed with her approach. Each session was varied, with different exercises that kept things interesting and challenging. Even though I’ve done personal training and other fitness sessions over the years, I still learned new warm-up techniques and movement patterns that really targeted toning in a fresh way.

My upper body strength is an area I’ve always found more difficult compared to my core, and Maggie provided tailored options to help me work on this. She also adapted the workouts to accommodate a couple of physical niggles I have.

After each session I felt energised and noticeably toned. Maggie is not only lovely and approachable, but she also takes the time to explain the benefits of each exercise, which helped me better understand how they contribute to my goals. At the outset, we discussed what I wanted to achieve, and the importance of muscle strengthening—especially as we age, which really resonated with me in my 50s.

Highly recommend Maggie for anyone looking for a thoughtful, knowledgeable, and engaging personal trainer.

I’m a 67 year old lady and, as such, although fit and well, I have my limitations. So far I have had 5 amazing sessions with Maggie. She has managed to design a bespoke programme, with lots of variations to avoid boredom, that pushes me in a safe and controlled way. I’m definitely going back for more!

I have enjoyed working with Maggie over the last few months. I was new to personal training and gym work and we focused on building strength whilst working around some knee issues that I have. I feel much stronger, lost a stone in weight and am now swimming much faster in the pool. I would highly recommend Maggie for her patient and considered approach.
