From the age of 5 I have been interested in human anatomy and physiology. This lead to me attending King's College University to study Nursing. I spent three years working in a hospital looking after people with both acute and chronic health problems, developing skills that are directly transferable to personal training. Whilst working as a nurse I developed a keen interest in HIIT training and olympic weightlifting in group classes. I immersed myself in gathering knowledge of fitness approaches and techniques over the next three years- if I was not at work at the hospital then I would always be working out or researching new exercises online! After nursing for three years I decided that fitness was my true passion and what I wanted to pursue. I quit my job and completed my level 2 and 3 personal training diploma. I am excited to promote exercise and healthy eating- I truly believe this is the best preventive medicine around! I have a sound understanding of human anatomy and many different styles of training. With this knowledge I can create bespoke programmes to meet your specific needs whether it be weight loss, building muscle, increasing strength or simply feeling more energetic.
Most of all I believe that training should be fun! I will work hard to find exercises that you enjoy so that you can look forward to going to the gym!
