Biography

I have been a Personal Trainer for 13 years, my background is in CrossFit which is a combination of gymnastics, athletics and Olympic weight lifting. I developed my CrossFit skills whilst working at CrossFit 3D in Manchester for 5 years.

This has given me a keen eye for movement and bio mechanics on how the body moves under load. To add to that, I have studied a bio mechanics mentorship working with CrossFit athletes, Tour riders and my clients.

Fitness for me is a lifestyle choice which I live and breathe. I train numerous times a day and love to go outside the gym putting my fitness to use in challenges such as:

  • The national 3 peaks 2016 / 2018
  • The Caledonian 54 miler 2011
  • Competed for CrossFit 3D in Manchester 
  • December 2018; racing a yacht across the Atlantic from the Canaries to St Lucia in a team of 5

For all my new clients, I like to follow certain assessment steps to get to know you individually, this includes:

  • Movement screening
  • Calliper testing
  • Understanding what your goals are and what you’re wanting to achieve
  • Planning workout sessions with progression in mind

I live in Stockton Heath and love the village and people. You might see me out and about walking my dog, a black Cocker Spaniel. I train clients all over the North West, individual and Corporate and love watching people progress and achieve the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
