Hi, my name’s John. I’ve been qualified in the fitness industry as a level 3 personal trainer for 3 years. That being said, I’ve pretty much lived the gym life since I was a late teen; I’m now 38.

I have a real passion for training people. I also get a lot of pleasure from educating people who struggle in a new, and sometimes intimidating, environment; your level of confidence or competence doesn’t matter, I will talk you through all aspects of physical training with a light hearted and friendly approach. If you’re new to the gym with no idea of what a deadlift or squat is, I can help! If you’re a seasoned gym goer who just needs that last little bit of fine tuning, I can get you there; my knowledge base means I can help anyone reach their goal.

I’ve spent the majority of my lifting days following a traditional body building frame work. However, as I’m now approaching 40 my training has focused more on flexibility and endurance; training needs to constantly adapt and evolve to your physical needs. 

I’m a multi dimensional PT; I believe that one training approach does not fit all. Each training plan I write is completed with you, taking into account your goals and abilities. I pride myself on being able to deliver a wide variety of training systems that will enable you to feel confident and comfortable in the gym.

"If you’re after results I cant recommend John enough. I entered the gym without a clue what to do and feeling massively nervous but John soon saw to that. Every training session I've had has been focused on my own personal targets , working with my strengths but also my weaknesses. john is extremely knowledgeable and has been able to explain everything I'm doing , why I'm doing it and what it it will achieve.
