I am a certified personal trainer who is passionate about making fitness and better health and well-being accessible to everyone. I have a particular interest in working with people who are new to fitness and also those wanting to improve body composition. It is important to me to provide well thought out and individualised programmes that clients want to stick to and enjoy whilst seeing and feeling real changes. With my knowledge and experience in participating in fitness races I can help with developing training plans and preparation for a variety of events.
A few years ago having been a nurse for 20 years, I was turning 40 and starting to feel my weight creeping up and energy levels going down. I wanted to do something about that and so started exercising more and adjusting my nutrition with the guidance of a personal trainer. Here my love of fitness began and my well-being transformed both physically and mentally. This is something I decided I wanted to share with other people assisting them to do the same.
As part of enjoying a healthier and more energised lifestyle I regularly enter fitness events. In the past year I have taken on hill runs, trail races, 10ks and a half marathon. I also completed Hyrox womens open in London in May 2024 and have a mixed doubles planned for December, alongside completing the Summer Gauntlet which is also a mix of running and strength challenges.
