Hey, I’m Laura!

I’m a fully qualified PT & I absolutely LOVE my job!

My job as a Personal Trainer is to empower you - I will share my knowledge with you and give you the ability to train confidently, safely and effectively in the gym. 

Think of Personal Training as an investment to yourself and a fundamental part of your journey, no matter what your goals are or the level of experience you have. Having me as your PT will motivate & inspire you, whilst keeping you accountable! 

Just a little bit about me… 

I have been very active throughout my life, I played hockey from age 9-17 and now at age 24 I have started playing again. I train in the gym anywhere from 3-6 days a week, I also instruct yoga classes twice a week too! Personally I choose a meat & dairy free diet and I consume little processed foods as possible. I have previously struggled with mental health and have since dedicated myself to becoming a stronger version of me, both mentally and physically. 

I appreciate that exercise not only impacts the body, but the mind too. Mental Health and Mental Wellbeing are two things I care deeply about. I know how much of a positive impact exercise can have on the mind. Your goal may not be physical, it may be more mental - either way, I can support you in your journey! 

Being able to help you achieve and exceed your goals is what my job is all about. I pride myself on making sessions fun, enjoyable and completely tailored to YOU.

When I first started in the gym I was constantly using the cardio machines and I never thought to explore the gym more or use any of the weight machines, as I was so nervous. After completing some personal training sessions with Laura it helped boost my confidence in the gym and as a person. I now feel more comfortable to use the whole gym instead of hiding on the treadmill. Laura is always willing to help me even if I’m not on a personal training session, she’s very empowering and encouraging and I always look forward to another personal training session.

When I first joined the gym I was very anxious and to be honest, quite intimidated. I have been training with Laura now for the past 4 months and what can I say, I now love working out and I look forward to my time in the gym. Laura is always very motivating and she is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging (and somehow fun). I used to find going to the gym a daunting and somewhat stressful task on the to do list regardless of the want to go. Since having sessions with Laura its now a place I go to de stress and find comfort. Training with Laura has given me great results and just as importantly I have great fun achieving them. She adapts the sessions around my needs both mentally and physically, she’ll soon suss when i’m not feeling very motivated and will get me straight back into focus with her supportive charm. Its incredibly reassuring having a friendly face and such a great source of knowledge having my back when trying to achieve my fitness goals. Laura clearly loves what she does and it didn’t take long for this to rub off on me. She’s so enthusiastic and its so refreshing to learn not just how to do something but why I should do it and how it’s going to benefits me as an individual.
