From a young age I've always been interested in fitness. I played football and rugby throughout my time at school and PE was my favourite lesson. At 16 I stopped playing team sports but the interest was still there as I did a Sport Science BTEC alongside my A Levels.

I joined a gym for the first time when I was 19 with a couple of friends. It was a bit of fun to start with but over time I slowly started to take things a bit more seriously and reading more about what I could do to get better results.

At university I studied Sport Psychology - for my dissertation I conducted my own research study looking at the effects of feedback on self-efficacy and performance. I believe that the knowledge that I gained from my degree will enhance both my services and your results. My learning hasn't stopped there, I am subscribed to a couple of research reviews that I read in my spare time so you can be assured that the advice I offer is supported by scientific evidence.

I'm passionate about helping people. There is so much misinformation out there, some of which is doing more harm than good. My aim is to cut through the nonsense and only give you the information that you need.

I’ve been training with lewys for almost 4 months now and my sessions with him are always worthwhile! In this time I have increased my fitness, lost weight and gained strength beyond levels I could have imagined! His passion for getting the best out of his clients really comes through in his sessions, he’s very motivational and supportive. I cannot recommend Lewys enough, he is professional, knowledgeable, tailors to the individual and helps with all aspects of your health and fitness. I’m looking forward to continuing my health and fitness journey with him!

As a middle aged man who has not looked after himself for the past decade I was doubtful that the gym was for me.
However with Lewys's guidance and support I have felt more confident in the gym and am now seeing and feeling the benefits.
Lewys is polite, knowledgeable and encouraging and I look forward to our weekly sessions.

Started off with great apprehension about personal training and its benefits, however Lewys was very systematic, motivating and positive in his approach. I feel I now have a greater understanding of strength training. I found Lewys to be polite, professional and friendly, striking the right balance between pushing me to do better and keeping my motivation up.

At the start I was very hesitant at starting personal training and felt I was weak but Lewys kept telling me I am not and pushing me. I've trained 10 weeks with him now and I've improved so much with his help. Definitely recommend him, he's friendly and approachable and is always checking in the day after to see how I feel.

At the start of training with Lewys I was very apprehensive about stepping on the scales and he was very understanding and explained how it’s not about how much you weigh it’s more about how you feel the more you exercise and this gave me the confidence i needed to get going. I would definitely recommend Lewys
