I'm Lucy, SugarRush PT, a CIMPSPA registered Level 3 Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor. I'm also a Type 1 Diabetic specialising in diabetic health.
Only three short years ago did I accidentally discover that moving my body had a positive effect, not only on my figure but on my energy levels, quality of sleep, mental health, not to mention diabetes control!
I have varied experience of working with people from inactive to regular gym goers. My passion is helping people with Diabetes improve their health outcomes, inactive people to become fit, healthy and fantastic and those wandering aimlessly toward their goals in need of some direction to live their best life.

As a complete beginner to personal fitness ,Lucy helped me with a programme to allow me to run a little quicker .She also gave the confidence to join a gym and not feel completely intimidated. I regularly go to the gym now ,something I would never have done without Lucy's input. As for the diabetes side of things, as another diabetes warrior, she understands how complex exercise can as a tyoe diabetic 1 and her experience is extremely useful regarding this too .Thank you Lucy for your input .

Well what can I say, Lucy has really helped me to push myself further than I thought I could in a very short time.
She has done me a fantastic program which I thought was going to be really hard but with her support I've managed to complete all of the sessions so far.
Hopefully I will complete my first 10k in a few weeks feeling stronger than ever,thanks Lucy xx

Lucy is a fantastic personal trainer who took the time to listen to my health issues and needs, helped me create a vision for my goals and created a plan for me to get there. Her understanding of diabetes was incredibly valuable as I have Type 1 Diabetes. As I say, her plans are well tailored to each individual and not a copy and paste formula.
