Biography

With 17 years of experience in the fitness industry undertaking research and education, I have developed a plan that allows me to get the most out of my clients. I have formed a process that focuses on coaching and not just Personal Training, together we will examine all aspects of your life to create a comprehensive plan tailored to you that will ensure results. I am committed to delivering and incorporating a balance between relevant exercise and appropriate nutrition. The information I deliver is evidence-based from accredited qualifications, and hours of continuous personal development and self-study on health, nutrition, and exercise.

As a busy Dad a of two children, I understand the time constraints, barriers and perceived pressures of modern life. Which is why I can relate to the highlighted issues and help you with planning to incorporate a healthy, fitter lifestyle around everyday family and work life. My strengths are creating realistic and effective plans to supplement the lifestyle and needs of my clients, by helping you train the right way to achieve your personal goals, building fitness into your life and providing you with the tools to progress forward independently. I believe that education is just as important as participation, which is why I apply this belief to my training approach. To achieve your goal, you must first be able to understand it, and it’s my drive and support that will help you reach it.

Over a period of time I got out of the habit of regularly working out and really needed the accountability to get going again. "I have a high regard for the way Mark interacted with me, he is very good at making people believe in themselves. Prior to beginning our sessions I had never entered the Free Weights Area to use the Squat Rack, Bench Press or Leg press as I found it a very intimidating part of the gym. The sessions are always varied, fun and challenging. Since training with Mark I have lost 16.2lb - just over a stone - and 20 inches off my waist and hips in 12 weeks. I now feel much more healthy and much stronger but much more confident and happy too. What I have learned has been life changing.
