Biography

My name is Max Bartlett, I am a L3 Personal Trainer and a L4 qualified Sports Massage Therapist. I have always been passionate about fitness and exercise, and being a PT means I can share my passion and enthusiasm with others helping my clients to reach their training and life goals.

I am extremely enthusiastic about providing people with the help to enable them to achieve their health and fitness goals. I am currently studying a GP referral course to enable me to benefit a wider section of society. I also combine my knowledge of sports massage with personal training to offer a more holistic approach. 
 

Is personal training right for you?

Personal training is great whether you are new to exercise or an experienced member looking for a fresh approach to your workouts. I can help you focus your workouts and reach your goals, whatever they may be. Whatever level you are, I can also help with maximising your time in the gym. I will use a combination of muscular endurance, hypertrophy and strength training combined with high intensity cardio in a personalised program based on fitness level and goals

How can Sports Massage help you?

A regular massage can be beneficial in the treatment and prevention of both sports and occupational injuries as helps to repair the body and bring it back to a balanced state, improving posture and wellbeing. It can also assist in increasing performance and endurance of muscles in sporting events, and specific techniques help in the management and rehabilitation of soft tissue. Sports massage has many benefits in no way exclusive to athletes; it can be an extremely useful tool for anybody who suffers with day to day or occupational problems.

Max is a true professional with his personal training, he always has the enthusiasm to help people achieve their goals and to keep improving. The equipment he has is modern and well looked after, he even has equipment I haven’t seen before in commercial gyms that help target more areas that you are training. I have also had a sports massage from Max, as I play a contact sport and sometimes I get an ache in my lower back and right shoulder, Max has helped this improve, this has also abled me to put more effort into certain exercises to get better results.
