Beth Bray
Regional Personal Training ManagerHi, I'm Beth. I was born in Torquay, Devon, and now live in Dudley in the West Midlands.
With over 10 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, I've built my career working with some of the UK's leading fitness brands, including Village Hotels, David Lloyd Clubs and now Your Personal Training.
Throughout my career I've progressed from the gym floor into leadership roles, leading high performing teams, driving commercial growth and supporting operational success. I've always believed that great coaches don't just transform bodies, they transform confidence, careers and lives.
Alongside my regional role, I run The Power Collective, my own coaching business specialising in coaching, performance and mindset development. I've worked with everyone from complete beginners taking their first steps into fitness through to competitive athletes, helping people unlock their potential both inside and outside the gym.
My passion for performance started long before fitness. I trained at the University of Exeter and grew up as a performer, appearing in theatre productions across the UK, including as part of the National Youth Theatre. Performing taught me discipline, resilience and how to connect with people, qualities that continue to shape my coaching and leadership style today.
As a Regional Personal Training Manager, my biggest passion is developing people. Whether it's helping a new Personal Trainer sign their very first client or mentoring experienced coaches to scale their business, nothing is more rewarding than seeing people exceed what they thought was possible.
Hobbies & Interests
Outside of work you'll usually find me training in the gym, teaching group exercise, preparing for competitions, or taking on my next fitness challenge. I also love travelling, going to the theatre, watching live productions and creating new content. Personal development is a huge part of who I am, and I'm always looking for ways to become a better coach, leader and person.
Interesting Fact
Before beginning my career in fitness, I was pursuing a career in performing arts. A serious car accident completely changed the direction of my life, leading me into the fitness industry instead. Since then, I've gone on to become a published fitness model and a British bikini finalist, competing with UKUP, Glifting Girls and the UKBFF. Looking back, what felt like the biggest setback of my life became the opportunity that shaped the career I have today.
