Jemma Wright
Regional Personal Training ManagerHi – I'm Jemma, Regional Personal Training Manager at YOUR Personal Training, founder of The FitNest, as well as a specialist in all things female fitness.
I've worked in the health and fitness industry for over 13 years, starting as a Personal Trainer before progressing through a variety of leadership and management roles. Throughout my career I've been passionate about helping trainers not only become great coaches but also build sustainable, rewarding businesses doing what they love.
As a Regional PT Manager, I love supporting trainers at every stage of their journey—whether that's helping someone sign their very first client or coaching established trainers to grow a thriving PT business. Seeing people develop in confidence, overcome challenges and achieve goals they didn't think were possible is one of the most rewarding parts of my role.
Alongside my work with YOUR Personal Training, I continue to run The FitNest which is all about getting families fit together, where childcare should never be an issue, as well as helping women build strength and confidence through every stage of life, from pregnancy and postpartum to perimenopause and menopause in my coaching.
Interesting Fact
Outside of work, I'm usually chasing after my toddler, Jasper, and our two crazy cocker spaniels. I'm completely Disney obsessed (so much so that I have a Disney tattoo across my back!), and I was once told I'm a cross between a kids' TV presenter and a Marine Commando—which I think sums me up pretty well... little, loud, full of energy and always up for a challenge!
Favourite Book / Podcast
Atomic Habits by James Clear is probably the book I've recommended and quoted the most. So many of the principles have become part of the way I coach, especially ideas like "never miss twice" and habit stacking. They aren't just concepts I teach my clients—they're habits I try to live by myself.
I also have a bit of a soft spot for literary classics. Where the Crawdads Sing completely caught me off guard—the ending absolutely got me right in the feels. And Jane Eyre will always be one of my favourites. Jane was such a strong, independent woman, well ahead of her time, and I think that's what makes her story so timeless.
