Nikki Gray

Regional PT Manager

Hi all, my name is Nikki. I’ve been in the fitness industry for 15 years and have held various roles across leading brands from Personal Trainer to Club Manager and National Performance Manager. In my role as a National Performance Manager, I particularly enjoyed supporting others to succeed and grow within the industry. I’ve worked with companies such as Virgin Active, Anytime Fitness, and F45, as well as running a successful freelance personal training business, offering both Personal Training and Sports Massage Therapy.

Alongside this, I owned and operated a sales consultancy business that supported over 100 fitness facilities across 9 different countries, helping teams improve their member engagement, sales numbers, and business performance.

My journey into fitness truly began when I served in the Royal Navy that’s when I realised this was the industry I wanted to dedicate myself to. Before joining the military, I was a competitive middle distance runner for Essex Ladies, specialising in the 1500m from age 11 to 17.

Interesting Fact

Obviously, I’m a little biased, but my favourite books are those written by my Dad, Gary Powell. He was a police detective at Scotland Yard and now writes true crime and crime fiction books.

Favourite Book / Podcast

I work with the NHS, supporting individuals facing severe mental health challenges. I use exercise as a tool to help improve their mental wellbeing, encouraging and gently guiding them to build healthier habits and a stronger sense of wellbeing. It’s incredibly rewarding to witness how physical activity can positively impact their mood, confidence, and overall quality of life.
