Personal Trainer/Fitness Instructor - The Link Leisure Centre
Employed part time Fitness Instructor role combined with a self employed Personal Trainer license.
This amazing role has been created as part of the ongoing partnership between The Link Leisure Centre and YOUR Personal Training.
The role will involve 20 hours a week of work within the employment of The Link Leisure Centre, combined with a Personal Training license with YOUR PT.
This is an amazing development opportunity to work with YOUR PT and their PT Business Coaches, who are at the top of their field. You will work towards becoming a fully self employed personal trainer, running your own long term, successful PT business within this fantastic club.
Main Fitness Instructor duties include:
● Gym Appointments including Inductions and Reviews (full training is provided for this)
● The creation of social media content
● Designated studio / gym floor workshops (these are agreed and scheduled in advance)
● Gym Appointment calls – calling members who are booked into a Gym Appointment to confirm attendance
Keeping the gym floor tidy during any downtime
● Outreach at local schools/colleges etc
● Any other reasonable task
● The role is completely gym-floor based and focuses on member interaction which is great for building rapport and supports in generating leads for a Personal Training client base.
Person Specification
The successful candidate will possess and be able to evidence the following personal characteristics:
● Enthusiastic and personable, who enjoys interacting with the public.
● Able to communicate with and motivate people from a variety of backgrounds.
● Outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
● You must also hold a minimum Level 3 PT Qualification

Income Potential
Being a Self-Employed Personal Trainer with Your Personal Training allows you the flexibility to work within our guided pricing brackets and work the hours that suit you and your clients. The average income of our PT’s is over £31,000 per year which is 38% above the national average, but we have many PT’s who generate an income of over £50,000 per year. The following table gives you an idea of what your income would be per month based on the monthly price you charge for your services.

How much can I earn?
Check out our potential earnings table on our website, the Regional PT Managers can also give you an idea of what other trainers In your area are charging. Individual PT income is based on an individual PTs performance.
How much is the gym rent/monthly fee?
Monthly Gym rent/license fee's vary across the UK and is dependant on your location. Regional PT Managers will discuss this on your initial screening call and also give you an idea of how many sessions per week you will need to do in order to pay that (Psst - it's probably not as much as you think and less than what most other gyms are charging in the same area) You also start with a 1.5 month free period at all our clubs so you have time to hit those initial personal targets before you start paying.
