3d Leisure Partners with YOUR Personal Training for Self-Employed PT Jobs Across Seven Health Clubs

17th August 2026

The Future of Great Gyms Isn't Equipment. It's Great Coaches.

You can have the best equipment, the smartest programming and a beautiful club. But if you don't invest in your coaches, you're only ever scratching the surface. That's why we're really pleased to be working with 3d Leisure.

Why 3d Leisure and YOUR Personal Training are partnering

If you know the sector, you'll know 3d. They've been setting the standard in leisure management for more than 30 years, operating over 100 facilities across hotels, private clubs, residential developments and corporate wellbeing. They're a business that genuinely understands that exceptional member experiences are built by exceptional people.

It's exactly why this partnership feels like such a natural fit, our job isn't simply to recruit Personal Trainers, it's to manage the entire Personal Training lifecycle.

From finding outstanding coaches and helping them launch successful self-employed businesses, to ongoing education, mentoring, marketing support and commercial development, we work alongside operators to build Personal Training communities that flourish for the long term.

Because good PTs aren't a given, we ensure that they're recruited well, supported properly and developed continuously, we ensure they get every opportunity to build successful businesses that keep members engaged, motivated and coming back.

As fitness continues to evolve with more people looking for expert coaching, preparing for races and events, managing long-term health or simply wanting more confidence in the gym, operators now need more than a recruitment partner. They need someone invested in building a Personal Training proposition that genuinely adds value to the business.

The best partnerships happen when two organisations share the same values, and that's exactly what we found with 3d Leisure. They've built an outstanding reputation by putting people first, and that's something we've always believed in too.

We're looking forward to delivering our complete Personal Training management solution across seven of its UK health clubs to build thriving Personal Training communities, not just by bringing in fantastic coaches, but by supporting them to build brilliant businesses that benefit members and operators alike.

This is another exciting step in our mission to raise the standard of Personal Training across the UK. Not by doing more, by doing it better than anyone else.

James Smith, Group Business Development Director, YOUR Personal Training, said:

“Operators don't need another recruitment company. They need a partner that can build a thriving Personal Training business. That's what we've spent years developing at YOUR PT, and we're looking forward to bringing that expertise to 3d Leisure.”

Paul Ramsay, Managing Director, 3d Leisure, said:

“We wanted a partner that understood how to build a successful Personal Training proposition from the ground up. YOUR PT's experience, support model and commercial approach made them the obvious choice, and we're excited to see the impact across our clubs.”

This partnership is built around one shared belief: invest in great coaches, support them properly and everybody wins.

What does the self-employed Personal Trainer role at 3d Leisure include?

Every placement through this partnership is a self-employed Personal Trainer role. You keep 100% of what your clients pay, with no commission taken, and start with 1.5 months rent-free, backed by YOUR Personal Training's full training, mentoring and business development package and capped trainer numbers at every club, so you are never sharing the same members with an open-ended number of other trainers.

Roles are open now to qualified Level 3, CIMSPA-recognised Personal Trainers, whether newly qualified or already established, across seven clubs under six venue brands: Rena Health & Leisure Club (Southampton and Manchester), Palms Leisure Club (Bridlington), Revival Health & Leisure Club (Buckingham), Juvenate Health & Leisure (Middlesbrough), Move Health & Fitness (Birmingham) and Motion Health Club (Slough). Based on YOUR Personal Training's own network data, self-employed Personal Trainers typically earn £2,500 to £4,500 or more a month by month six. Those figures are typical rather than guaranteed, and quoted gross, before your own business costs.
