I'm Cain, a Personal Trainer at City Baths Gym in Newcastle. Five years ago, I started my fitness journey feeling lost and lacking confidence in the gym. Since then, I've completed marathons in London and Edinburgh and competed in HYROX and CrossFit events - but more importantly, I discovered how fitness transforms not just your body, but your mindset and confidence.
I understand the struggles of starting out because I've been there. Whether you're completely new to training, struggling with consistency, or working toward a specific goal, I'll provide the guidance, structure, and support to help you succeed. I focus on building sustainable habits and helping you find your 'why' - because lasting results come from understanding your motivation, not just following a workout plan.

I really enjoy Cain's boxfit and pump classes. They offer a range of workouts and he mixes things up each week to keep the classes interesting.
He is very friendly and approachable, and checks in regularly to make sure everything is okay. He's also knowledgeable and always helps out if I'm not sure on anything.

Cain has been a great help in taking me to the next level of fitness. He is attentive and the sessions continue to be very varied. I’m really pleased with the results and intend to keep this as an ongoing arrangement. I also enjoy our chats while working out, about diet, food and movies, which keeps the session interesting!

I’ve been training with Cain for the past couple of months and the experience has been great. Before starting, I used to dread going to the gym, but he’s completely changed that. He’s patient, encouraging, always manages to keep sessions engaging and knows how to push me without making things feel overwhelming, and every workout is challenging in a good way. I’ve already seen great progress in just two months, both in my fitness and confidence. I even surprised myself that I haven’t missed one single session with Cain because I’d never lasted longer than two months with my previous trainers.

I have been using this gym for a number of months when i spotted xains info at reception. My training routine was getting a bit samey and needesd a change. . I signed up with Cain. He is a veey personable young man. He taylored my training taking into account my age and gwneral fitness.. i feel good about myself and would recommend Cain to anyone to upgrade their fitness

I had a great session with Cain today! He took me through a warmup, comprehensive workout with compound and accessory moves, and a cool down. He tailored the session to my goals and needs; and he's an amiable lad which helped make the workout enjoyable. My goals were to break past my plateu in getting to a pull-up, and to improve my mind-muscle connection.
I would recommend Cain to people who are overwhelmed by the gym and would benefit from a friendly face to show them the ropes, people looking for variety in their workout routines, or accountability if they find gym consistency a struggle.
And, respectfully, no wonder mans from Yorkshire because body is tea 😌💅🏻 (hope that's not impertinent to say lol)

Cain set out a clear exercise plan for me at home and in the gym. He also checked in with progress in between gym sessions. This all helped me to achieve my personal targets. If you are looking for a robust plan against clear targets or just to make the most of your time in the gym I’d highly recommend Cain.
