Hi I'm Chris
As a personal trainer, my aim is to get the most out of you and help you to achieve your full potential.
I use a health first, lifelong approach to your fitness , looking at nutrition, sleep, recovery and mindset in addition to exercise.
As an on-call firefighter, I need functional, whole body fitness , prioritising strength, speed and stamina as well as mobility and freedom of movement. and I believe that is the optimal way of training for every human body.
I have been a PT for over 15 years, before which, I was a chef. I have always had a love of sports and fitness, with a background in boxing, rugby and triathlons and I'm a big fan of obstacle races like Spartan race etc But I wasn't always fit and healthy, having grown up with asthma. That was a massive challenge I managed to overcome and I believe that through that and with my other experience and knowledge, I am able to help you to overcome your challenges and achieve your goals.

I started at the gym in early December with an aim to lose weight and had seen Chris in the gym PTing other clients. I was interested in the his style of PTing and after a couple of conversations signed on with him. Chris has opened my eyes to a whole new level of training that improves core strength, stability, posture and overall health and fitness which is completely unlike the counting reps style of personal training I've previously been used too. This has had huge impact in my daily life and has boosted my overall health and confidence.

My aim with the attending the gym, is to continue my personal weight loss journey, and tone my wobbly bits. I was dubious about booking with a PT wondering if id struggle, being a failure. I had an hour with Chris…. I was made to feel comfortable, with all my questions answered, being someone with terrible balance due to a previous foot injury and two left feet, chris was advising the best way to complete each task, making sure i was comfortable, I left the session feeling confident, like id actually done a proper work out, and with a beaming smile. I will be booking again with Chris, he is certainly knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with.

I can't thank this gentlemen enough. I have alot of joint problems, I needed to lose alot weight, the gym was intimidating to me and didn't know where to start. Anyway I having been working with chris for a while now and I have confidence to used the gym independently. When something was causing discomfort in a joint, Chris always knows how to adapt the movement/position to be able to continue with the activity. And yes the weight is coming off too, strength is building and definitely getting fitter and healthy. Thank you Chris.

I have seen Amazing results since training began. Not only have i seen more strength and fitness, but also the confidence to use equipment independently and understand each exercise. Each session was tailored to my specific needs, which pushed me past my perceived limits and made the experience enjoyable. I have more strength. Stamina and my posture is very good...
