Hi and pleased to meet you, my name's Dirk and I'm a personal trainer at Moss Side Leisure Centre. I've been a personal trainer for 3 years and have been involved in sports and exercise for more years than I care to remember.
Although these days I'm a competitive body builder, I've also played rugby, and trained in Judo and white collar boxing.
I've worked with people form all walks of life and at all abilities with successful results, so whatever your goals are, I can come up with a plan to get you there, whether it be a holiday body, sports specific training, fat loss, muscle gain or to improve confidence and generally feel better in general, there's a multitude of solutions that can be specifically tailored to you, your lifestyle and your budget.
I'm very passionate about fitness and well being so please, come and say hello and have an informal chat about your goals and aspirations. I'm genuinely interested in your story so lets make the next chapter in yours phenomenal!!

I can honestly say that after only a few weeks training with Dirk I noticed a change in my shape in that my muscles were more defined which I was thrilled about. Dirk is incredibly knowledgeable about all things fitness and health and great to train with. He knows exactly how hard to push you making sure you're still comfortable and enjoying your workout. If you want to progress with your fitness goals quickly then I would highly recommend getting in touch with Dirk and let him work his magic on you.

I cannot praise Dirk highly enough. He’s really good at his job. Incredibly kind, smart, patient, knows exactly when to encourage you to push yourself. He listens, identifies and remembers my little areas of physical weakness, so that I feel safe that I won’t suffer an injury when I’m with him. He’s great company, so the lessons fly by, in a good way. I can feel and see a big difference in a month and I’m confident that I’ll be the best, fittest, healthiest me in a few months. I’ve already booked another series of lessons for September. Underneath the “jacked”, tattooed body is a heart of gold and a thoughtful, sensitive and highly effective trainer. I've been training with Dirk for about two months now and it truly is the highlight of my week. I was a complete gym novice, with no prior experience in weight training or gym-based exercise. I wanted to work with someone who could help me to build confidence in a gym setting, to get used to using equipment, and teach me different kinds of exercises. Dirk has been a great trainer from the start and has been so flexible in tailoring a programme that suits my needs and routine. Hi all, with dirk moving onto new adventures, wanted to give some gratitude to him due to the effort he has put in and progress he helped me get along my journey. I joined a coaching plan with him in February 2023 with decent knowledge of gym but poor diet. I was sitting at a 70kg body weight since his help I was able to get to 90kg with his well detailed training plans and diets which was all adaptable to my life style and work due to working away, he made it simple and easy to follow with little stress involved, constantly checking up on me with diet ideas and when we could have a hardcore session adapting it all to my physicality and physical look on what muscle groups needs to be balanced out and improved, constantly adapting the plans to my needs, even when his own plans and prep is happening the effort doesnt change and even since having to stop due to increase work commitments he still keeps in contact to see how I am doing, I couldn’t recommend him enough, with his knowledge in gym, attitude to life and experience within the gym, there’s no one else better to get to coach you!
