With five years of training experience and over two years as a practising personal trainer, my approach is grounded in well-established developments in exercise research. I stay up to date with the science and adjust my methods as reliable, meaningful evidence comes through.

I’ve worked with a few trainers in the past while trying to get back into shape, but I never really felt fully engaged or consistent. Training with Jack was honestly very different.
What stood out immediately was how focused he is during sessions. He’s not distracted or half-watching - his attention is completely on your movement and technique, and he notices even small mistakes straight away. The feedback he gives is clear, practical, and actually helps you improve in real time.
He’s also very hands-on throughout the session - loading plates, adjusting machines, and making sure you’re using your time well. There’s no wasted effort or unnecessary volume. Everything feels deliberate and worthwhile, and every minute in the gym has a clear purpose.
Jack’s approach was clearly evidence-based and not built around gimmicks. This coming from a medical doctor. The sessions were structured, efficient, and effective, and I always felt I was getting real value from the time I spent training.
On top of that, he’s genuinely easy to talk to during rest periods, which makes the sessions enjoyable as well as productive.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d happily train with him again in the future. Looking forward to training with him again when I get the chance.

Jack is an amazing fitness instructor. He has provided an excellent routine, modified it in response to my needs which has allowed me to train injury free for the last year, something I had not managed without his helpful advice. He is well-informed about the latest scientific improvements in training and diet, and following his advice has allowed me to reverse a diagnosis of diabetes... My doctors are all very impressed! I cannot recommend Jack highly enough for all aspects of personal fitness.

The initial consultation was thorough and he made me feel comfortable with the process. During the training Jack explains how the exercises impact the area you are working on, checks your form and encourages you to squeeze out those extra reps to make sure you are getting the most out of the workout.
