The profile here says I'm a Personal Trainer, and while that's true, I'm more of a Fitness and Behavioural Coach.

I’m not an elite athlete. I have a sweet tooth, and my motivation has peaks and troughs like anyone else. What makes me different is simple: I understand the psychology of getting unstuck.

Before coaching, I worked in the Prison Service helping people navigate complex behavioural changes under intense stress. I use expert training and motivational interviewing to break your unhelpful habits and stop the "start-stop" cycle for good.

I live the barriers I coach. From managing my own mental health to training with Poland Syndrome, I know what it’s like when your mind or body refuses to cooperate.

I’ve been working with Jack for a long time now, and I honestly couldn’t recommend him enough. Not only is he an incredible personal trainer, but he’s also been a huge source of support during a really difficult time in my life.

No matter what kind of day I’m having, Jack always manages to put a smile on my face and help me forget about my anxiety, even if it’s just for an hour. He creates such a positive and welcoming environment where I feel comfortable being myself, and I never feel judged.

He’s knowledgeable, motivating, and genuinely cares about his clients both inside and outside of the gym. His support, patience, and encouragement have meant more to me than he probably realises.

If you’re looking for a PT who will push you to achieve your goals while also being understanding, supportive, and genuinely invested in your wellbeing, then Jack is the person to go to. I appreciate everything he has done for me, and I can’t thank him enough.

I've been training with Jack since April now and the difference he's made has gone far beyond my fitness. He's knowledgeable, supportive, and makes the gym feel like a safe, welcoming space where I feel comfortable pushing myself without feeling judged rather than something intimidating that I always imagined them to be.

As someone who struggles with anxiety, it's easy for me to sometimes feel surrounded by imaginary negativity and criticism that exists only in my own head. Jack acts like a shield against those thoughts, helping me focus on my progress instead of the worries my mind creates.

It also helps that his workouts are varied and engaging, so I never get bored or feel any sense of dread about going. Instead, I genuinely look forward to each session as this makes it easier to stay consistent to reach my fitness goals. 💪

All this to say I would deffo recommend Jack to anyone looking for a trainer who understands that confidence and wellbeing are just as important as fitness results! ❤️

I have been seeing Jack for two months now, and it’s been great. I was not a gym person before, and I was very unfit! I was also very depressed and emotionally fragile when I started - in fact the first time I met him for the free taster session, I spent the whole time trying not to cry, and the following week I could not attend my first scheduled session with him as I was so low. But Jack was completely understanding and didn’t judge or make me feel embarrassed about it, he is incredibly perceptive and tuned into where I was at from the get go. Since then, I’ve been seeing him once a a week and attending the gym myself in between his sessions, and this is down to him encouraging and making me feel comfortable and capable. He pushes me, but not too hard, and I’m starting to feel a real benefit both mentally and physically. I was late for a concert the other day and had to walk/run to get there - and I could! I actually felt a tangible change to my physical ability. I recommend anyone to work with Jack, no matter who you are or what level of ability you have, as he will adapt as needed and in an emotionally intelligent way. Thanks Jack :)

Our sessions with Jack have been brilliant!

Week by week we've really seen a difference and are genuinely amazed at what can be done with a session a week!

We've had leisure centre membership for AGES because we kept meaning to go and never getting round to it. We were too busy, there was always something else to do etc. And honestly - the gym is Intimidating and stressful if you're not used to it!

But we wanted to start taking our fitness seriously and investing in long-term health - it doesn't get easier to get fitter so you may as well start now!

Jack's sessions now mean we go every week. You've helped us find our limit and keep pushing it back. We feel better in ourselves and have already noticed the change in our fitness. We would not have been able to do this ourselves because you need an expert who knows how to push you safely and supportively - we have worked harder than we ever thought we could.

So for anyone wanting to start going to the gym and feeling stuck - we can't recommend Jack more highly. He is so genuine and encouraging, he keeps things varied, his expertise means you don't need to work out complicated plans. He will demystify the gym, show you how to use everything, make space for you, adapting to your energy that week. In short, if you want to get going, Jack is all you need!

I have been working with Jack for 6 weeks now and cannot believe how much I have progressed and achieved in a short amount of time.
The workouts are planned to push me each time while still keeping them enjoyable for me to be consistent. What I appreciate the most is how he adapts his approach to where I am mentally and how my body is feeling in the moment. Reassuring and encouraging on slow days and motivating me to push harder on better days.
He is the most cooperative and friendly person to work with and always puts the clients interest first.

Working with Jack has been empowering. He is helping me take control of my life physically which also helps me mentally. As a post- menopausal retired women it’s easy to feel as though I have lost my place as part of society and that I shouldn’t be doing weights or trying to be the best version of myself I can be. He has shown me that I can be the person I used to be but better, if that’s what I want.
I look forward to our sessions even though I will be challenged, what would be the point otherwise.
I didn’t know a PT could be so understanding and genuinely caring. If you have any worries that a PT might not be for you - have sessions with Jack and it will change your mind.

Sessions with Jack are genuinely motivating and inspiring. After being out of practice for a while, I’ve already noticed such a boost in my confidence after each session. He doesn’t just provide great PT sessions – he’s a real motivator who helps shift my mindset on days when I’m not feeling my best. I have had 3 sessions with Jack ! And I couldn't describe enough of how amazing he is ! I suffer with anxiety and ever since I have been coming to his sessions I feel like a different person! He is most loveliest person ! Every lesson he is always motivating me and giving me tips during the lesson!
If you are looking for a PT I would definitely recommend Jack ! Cause you won't get one as good as Jack ! If there was more than 5 starts I would put more down !

Jack is an amazing PT! He’s so supportive, motivating and really knows what he’s doing. He always pushes and motivates me to do things in the gym that I never thought I could. Before I started my sessions with him I had so much anxiety about going to the gym, but now I honestly feel like a different person. He always makes me feel comfortable and confident.
