Hi, I’m James Stevens — a Level 3 Personal Trainer and certified Fat & Weight Loss Specialist with over 10 years in the fitness industry.
For me, fitness isn’t just a job — it’s personal. I’ve lived with terminal liver cancer for 17 years, and training has been my lifeline. It’s taught me resilience, discipline, and the power of looking after both body and mind. That drive is what I bring to every client I work with.
My coaching style is supportive, realistic, and results-driven. Whether you want to lose weight, build strength, or simply feel healthier and more confident, I’ll meet you where you’re at and give you the tools, structure, and accountability to succeed.
I offer 1-2-1 personal training, online coaching, and fat loss programs tailored to your goals and lifestyle. Whatever your starting point, we’ll work together to create lasting change — without quick fixes or unrealistic expectations.

I began my 1-2-1 sessions with James approximately 9 months ago.
Over this time he has managed to: -
1). Keep me motivated.
2). Assisted in a slow, controlled weight loss programme, helping ensure I maintained a good balance of essential carbs, fat & protein.
3). Continues to work closely with me to ensure my fitness regime is meeting my goals/objectives.
4). Remains mindful of a few physical restrictions, ensuring my sessions are strengthening the right muscles, helping reduce risk of irritating the annoying sciatic nerve or putting undue stress on my lower back.
I enjoy my sessions with him and would recommend him to anyone looking for help with their exercise regime, motivation and/or a reinvigorated enjoyment of healthy life balance.

James is insane at PTing he really indulges himself into helping the matter at hand. He also has insane response tjme to any changes asked for to the workout plan.

James is an excellent PT coach - really takes his time to understand your goals and builds a suitable program and motivates you to help reach them - gently bringing you back on the straight and narrow when you wander off course!

James is an excellent trainer. He has a good understanding of the body and identifies areas where support is needed, introducing exercises that will help to strengthen such problem areas. He explains why such exercises and routines are being introduced and how they will help. In my case, the focus is on the posterior chain, and James has developed a programme for me that will provide the best support, build up muscle, strengthen the mid-lower back, and work the glutes and hamstrings. He is also a pleasure to work with, and we have developed a good rapport over the 18 months I’ve been working with him. I recommend his training services to anyone who wants to improve their strength and resilience.
