I'm here to guide and support you in becoming the strongest, healthiest, and most confident version of yourself. I specialise in functional fitness, weight loss, and strength training, with a focus on helping you build confidence, both in the gym and in everyday life, so you can make lasting, meaningful progress toward your goals.
With over 11 years of experience working one-to-one with clients at home, in gyms, and outdoors, as well as running bootcamps and fitness classes, I’ve helped many people improve their fitness, health, and overall happiness. My background in personal training and my career as a firefighter have equipped me with a broad and practical understanding of fitness and resilience, which I’m passionate about sharing.
For the past five years, I’ve proudly served as an on-call firefighter based at Totnes Fire Station, a role that deepens my commitment to helping others. Outside of work, I play for a women’s rugby team and stay active to maintain my fitness—not just for my career, but also to keep up with my energetic five-year-old daughter!

Couldn't recommend Lex enough - so knowledgeable, calm, patient and encouraging. She knows what she is talking about, will help set goals with you that are achievable but also push you.

I have been training with Lex for a year now. Her classes of boxing, weights and cardio have been so well put together and change into different formats each week . Lex has the ability to make it fun, safe which she does for all levels of fitness. For myself this has been part of my journey for my well being mentally and physically. As a mature lady it’s never to late to try out new things, which Lex brings each time Iam in her classes. For anyone what ever your level I have found a amazing instructor who can help you found your personal goals in life . 😃

I did two years with Alexis at the start of perimenopause to help with fitness and tackle weight gain. This set me up for this next stage of my life. Only stopped due to COVID. The workouts were hardworking but never more than I could handle and I did not suffer from any injuries or was so stiff I count get out of bed. It was fun too.

I’ve been training with Lex for nearly two years, starting with firefighter bootcamp sessions outdoors twice a week in all weathers, using real firefighter equipment. Now I train with her in smaller groups, doing boxing once a week and weightlifting once a week with an amazing group of women.

Lex is a super enthusiastic, qualified and friendly personal trainer. I have carpal tunnel & some arthritis problems and Lex has never shamed me for not being able to do basic movements and has only ever gone above & beyond to give me the tools & techniques to be able to adjust exercises to meet my unique needs.
