I'm Luke Sheppard, and I'm here to tell you straight – no fluff, no excuses, just results. Based at Swiss Cottage Leisure Centre, I've been transforming lives since 2015, and I'm not stopping anytime soon.
I didn't get into this industry by accident. Being named Personal Trainer of the Year, becoming a UK Active Physical Activity Champion of the Year Finalist, and guiding hundreds of clients through successful transformations showed me exactly what I'm meant to do – push you to become the strongest version of yourself.
Here's the truth: fitness isn't complicated, but it does require commitment. I'm not here to sugarcoat things or sell you quick fixes. I’ve absolutely loved training with Luke. I initially started training with him with the simple goal of losing some weight, but it ended up completely changing my entire approach to fitness.
Before working with Luke, I barely exercised, never really enjoyed the gym, and honestly had no idea what I was doing most of the time. His approach made such a huge difference. Not only is he a great trainer who pushes you to work hard and achieve your goals, but he also takes the time to teach you properly along the way.
Through training with him, I’ve learned so much about how to train effectively for my goals, how to structure workouts, and how important nutrition is. More importantly, he’s given me the confidence to train independently outside of our sessions. As a woman, I used to find the weights area really intimidating, especially in busy gyms, but now I feel completely comfortable walking in and training by myself — something I never thought I’d be confident enough to do before.
Physically, the transformation has been incredible. I genuinely feel like the strongest and healthiest version of myself now. But beyond that, Luke makes training genuinely enjoyable. He’s motivating, supportive, approachable, and just a really nice person to be around, which makes such a difference when you’re trying to stay consistent.
You can tell he really knows his stuff. Every session and every part of the plan felt tailored specifically to my goals, and he was always able to answer any questions I had, whether it was about training, recovery, or nutrition.
I honestly cannot recommend training with him enough. If you’re looking for someone who will not only help you get results but also completely change the way you think about fitness and build your confidence along the way, Luke is the person to go to!

Luke is an exceptionally talented Personal Trainer, and I can honestly say that if you work with him in a committed way, it will change your life. He has a great understanding of his clients' needs, and continually shapes programmes to meet their developing goals. Luke has a very good knowledge of anatomy, so that he can always explain the purpose of a particular exercise. He also gives great advice on nutrition and supplements.
