Hello, I'm Minerva Amiss, a Personal Trainer based at Copperbox Arena. My passion for health and fitness began in 2020, when I started managing a life-changing knee injury through physical rehabilitation and exercise. I am also over a year sober from alcohol which keeps me sharp and focused on my goal and ultimately help others.

I believe in functional fitness which is much more than just looking good - I want my clients to feel strong, confident, and empowered in their own body. My aim is to provide my clients with the knowledge, support, and motivation they need to build sustainable, healthy habits and achieve their fitness targets. I am especially interested in helping women gain confidence, get strong and tailor programs around women’s health.

Whether you're looking to lose weight, build muscle, improve athletic performance, or simply boost your overall well-being, I’m here to show you exercising can be fun and push you to be the absolute best version you can be, through program design and encouragement every step of the way.

I’ve been meaning to get a PT for a while, as my confidence at the gym, and my knowledge of the equipment, were both low. It was holding me back from building a routine and improving my overall health, especially when it came to strength training. So when I found out Minerva was a qualified instructor at Copper Box, it was a no-brainer.
I’ve since started noticing changes in my body, which has made me more motivated to stick to a gym routine. Her constant encouragement and support have truly become one of the highlights of my week and something I genuinely look forward to.
I’d highly recommend Minerva, especially to any women who, like me, have felt unsure or intimidated navigating the gym environment!
