I’m Nick, a Personal Trainer working here at York Stadium Leisure Complex.
Are you new to the gym, getting back into training, or exercising regularly but not seeing the results you want? I can help.
I work with people of all ages and abilities, from those just starting out to those who have been training for a while but lack structure or clarity in their approach. My focus is on providing clear guidance, structured sessions, and accountability, so training feels purposeful and progress becomes consistent.
I particularly enjoy helping people who want to move better, feel stronger, and regain confidence in their physical abilities, especially if fitness has started to feel harder than it used to.
When I’m not coaching, I stay active by working towards my own fitness challenges, including endurance events such as triathlons and competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Training this way reinforces the importance of structure, consistency, and solid foundations — principles I bring into my coaching.

I’ve been training with Nick for a few weeks now and honestly couldn’t recommend him enough. From the first session, it was clear he really knows his stuff. Every workout is well thought out and tailored to what I actually need, not just a generic plan.
What stands out most is how much he genuinely tries to help in every way possible. Whether it’s correcting form, explaining why we’re doing certain exercises, or giving advice outside of sessions, he’s always supportive and approachable. He pushes you to work hard but in a way that feels encouraging rather than overwhelming.

I have been training with Nick for the last two weeks, all I can say is wow, his knowledge is impeccable, he always gives me really beneficial advice and feedback. He has created a personal plan for me, and is working a dream I do have health issues which have all been closely taken in to consideration, and we have worked around. I have been a member of other gyms in the past had had PT training with them with not much success, the improvement I have seen in myself in just two weeks has given me confidence in myself again.
