About
A level 3 Personal Trainer for 13 years, I have delivered over 20,000 hours of high quality training to a varied client base. I am a passionate, highly motivated individual who strives to get the very best results for the people I work with.

I believe that personal training is about an honest, dynamic relationship between the trainer and the client. It is my aim to ensure that the client gets the very best out of themselves each and every session.

I have worked with people of all ages and walks of life in my time as a trainer. From elite athletes to seniors who are looking for better mobility in later life and everything in between.

My partner and I are foster carers which has brought a wealth of understanding of trauma and how it affects the mind and body. It is also an honour to be able to support and nurture young people on their life journeys.

My huge passion is sports. Particularly cricket which I have played at a high level for most of my life.

I look forward to speaking to you to discover how I can support you to achieve you're health and fitness goals.

When a colleague suggested I try some PT sessions with Paul, I expected the usual uninspiring and repetitive HIIT workouts including endless burpees, mountain climbers and push ups until I wanted to throw myself out the window. However, right from pre-workout stretches to the final cool down, Paul surprised me with exercises I had never been given in many years of bootcamps and training with a variety of PTs, and kept the session fun and motivating.
The hour passed by quickly and with Paul’s witty banter and easy-going personality, I didn’t even realise how hard I was working until the next day when I felt the proud pain in muscles I didn’t even know I had in my core! Paul certainly meant it when he said he would incorporate full body movements!
I was impressed that Paul incorporated new exercises to work on my hips, recognising immediately that I worked in an office job for long hours which creates strain affecting full body movement. He also noticed that my feet were turning in slightly at one point, affecting my balance, and suggested adapting some exercises to strengthen the inside of the calf and stretch the outside to even it out. It was good to know that he was not only paying attention to my technique, but also able to give direction and advice and be adaptable to changing the program for what I needed.
Although I have only had two sessions with Paul so far, I can definitely see how a planned programme with him would yield excellent results, whatever a client’s goals may be. I had fun training with Paul and look forward to more sessions with great results and a few laughs!
