I have worked in the fitness industry for over 12 years, specialising in Cardiac Rehabilitation. My work has focused on proving safe fitness levels for patients with genetic heart conditions and providing rehabilitation programs for hospitals by leading on research studies in the UK. Additionally, I have trained personal training clients, injury rehabilitation clients, private home clients, and conducted group exercise classes, including Spin classes, LesMills BodyPump & BodyBalance classes, outdoor group training, boot camps, and heart rate-specific classes. I have designed, built, and led low heart rate, high heart rate (HIIT), and pyramid-style heart rate classes.

During my time at Epsom College, training students, I ran an exclusive private business, offering a range of daily classes, including BodyPump, Spin, heart rate-specific, and ABS programs. Recently, I have been focusing more on personal training and injury rehabilitation and have decided to bring my expertise to Leatherhead Leisure Centre.

I am passionate about helping individuals improve their fitness abilities by becoming stronger and more active. Whether it is your first visit to the gym, or you are training at a top athlete level, I am dedicated to helping you reach your goals, no matter where you are on your fitness journey. Your personal training program with me will be unique, with achievable goals, and I will provide the support and motivation needed to reach your personal best.

I have been training with Paula since March .She has been a great asset to my fitness journey. I am always looking forward to my session as Paula is a little sunshine who is pushing me hard to achieve my goals not only in the gym but also suggesting nutrition and vitamins for me. With her help I have managed to lose 10 kg . I would highly recommend Paula as a fitness instructor!

Paula is a breath of fresh air.
Each session is demanding but fun for this 82 year old for whom Paula's sessions helped me to participate fully on holiday with four athletic teenagers.

Whether you have a specific goal or simply want to improve your health and fitness, Paula is the PT to make it happen! Workouts with Paula challenge me in a way I'd never challenge myself and as a result I'm stronger (physically and mentally) than I ever thought I would be. Those workouts are varied and great fun which is down to Paula's expertise and personality - she's an amazing trainer and lovely person. If you chose to invest in yourself you won't find a better trainer.

I've been training with Paula for the last 7 months after slipping a disc a second time post back surgery in 2017. She's been super supportive throughout and has helped me with my running again and built up my strength. I can even do squats now with 60kgs. Paula is a miracle worker!

I was not a fan of the gym but I needed to regain my fitness after a major heart operation. I have felt very safe training with Paula. The sessions are varied and she is great fun and her enthusiasm just enables you to give it your best. Enjoyed it so much that I am a regular gym goer now. Would highly recommend.

I had a challenge (National Three Peaks in a day) and Paula got me through it. Even though I had a sore hip tendon and had even torn my calf muscle at the start, she helped me rehab and strengthen up safely and effectively.
