Across three decades of specialist and high-risk public service, I have built a set of personal attributes that I am humbly proud of.

I am now embarking on a career in the personal fitness, life coaching and wellbeing industry. I believe this all pulls together from the success of my professional service to help guide anyone in their personal journeys through motivation and fitness.

I have trained and implemented that into real scenarios all my working life and have done this all over the world. Sometimes having to endure hardships that we would ordinarily not have to in doing so.

I am a listener and communicator who quickly builds trust and confidence to achieve any fitness goal that we can work on together.

This is exactly what we have to do in looking at fitness and we can break down our goals and make them achievable.

I want you to succeed and believe anyone can. We are not all the same and we all need different help to get there.

With the right help and a great mindset, you can become unbeatable.

I love the outdoors, I used to be a massive trail runner until injury took me out of it. Now I enjoy mountain walking and enjoy adapting exercise into functional fitness.

I would hope I have a fitness solution for most things when you decide you wish to use my services.

Outside of the gym I am also a qualified FA football coach, help run a women’s walking football team in Cumbria, and have performance coached in the Newcastle United Walking Football Foundation League.

I cannot wait to meet the gym communities of Workington, Cockermouth and Keswick!

When I Started with Phil I had never been to the Gym before and had no idea how to put a gym session together.

Phil provided a great introduction to the gym and was able to put enjoyable sessions together and has given me the confidence to attend the gym myself.

Although being apprehensive about getting help to improve my overall fitness Phil made me feel really comfortable from the get go and the sessions undertaken so far have gone well and joining walking football sessions on offer has been refreshing finding skills I didn’t know I had!

I have attended several walking football sessions with Phil. It didn't matter that I had no clue as to what it was all about! We have a really good warm up session moving on into drills and skills before playing an actual game. Immense fun with lots of laughter and getting some great exercise at the same time! Highly recommend.

I have been attending Phil’s walking football sessions. They are great fun. Phil makes sure that we are warmed up correctly before commencing some football drills. He increases the difficulty in the drills each week and we have been making progress as a group. Phil has a friendly approach and makes the sessions fun but challenging. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Phil has been very supportive and motivating in my personal fitness.
I've had injuries to work around to keep my health and wellbeing maintained. I'm at that stage of life that looking after myself has to be my top priority as its the one thing I can have control over, I want to be able to move freely and have strength. I feel great after my PT sessions.
