Quincy is an excellent trainer who has helped me achieve real improvements much faster than I thought was possible. Instead of dreading sessions, I now even look forward to them. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to get fitter and stonger, faster.

It has been 1.5 years since I started the Quincy Method (my term, not his). I approached Quincy one day: "I've been watching you and I would like to do a weekly session." He replied, "I've been watching you and you're a wanderer." He was spot-on as I tended to wander from one machine to the next, no plan just logging time in the gym. He asked me my goals: to get stronger so I can play football better and for longevity benefits (I'm 56). With confidence, he told me we could do that. But it has been so much more: Quincy's holistic philosophy and encouragement have helped me see working out with weights as "play." I now am not the wanderer I once was; I have a plan and follow it on my own other days of the week. I've gotten stronger for football and I am also developing good habits for a long, healthy life. Talking to Quincy after the session he had with my mum. The sessions I had after that he always asked how things were progressing for me and understood my situation and how I was struggling he recommended that I get a PT to achieve what I wanted faster and put himself forward.

Really good gym with great trainers! I have recently started and completed an initial training package. Since then I have signed up long term to carry on training, but why... From my initial consultation my trainer Quincy wanted to know what I want to get out of the training sessions and has tailored our sessions accordingly. Since joining, sure I have lost weight, but I have also been surprised about how quickly weights I am lifting have consistently increased. Quincy always checks with me if I can do more but he can just tell by looking at how the last set went. I look forward to many more months continuing to lose weight and build strength.

I highly recommend Quincy! I have had two months of intensive sessions with him and I have never felt more supported and encouraged by a trainer. When we began working together I had not seen the inside of a gym for years. I truly started from zero and have found my time with him hugely rewarding: He met on my own terms, listens and adapts to what I want to achieve, and has helped me develop and iteratively grow a sustainable routine that genuinely works for me in the gym and advice around diet and lifestyle changes outside it. My strength, fitness, and confidence has grown accordingly.

I had a total knee replacement in October 2024. Although I have private physio once a week, I felt that it wasn’t sufficient.
I started using Quincy 5 weeks ago. I no longer use my crutches, he’s taught me so I much. The progress is tremendous. It’s worth spending your money and using him, he’s the best.

I have never had a personal trainer before. I had a bad fall a year ago and dislocated my shoulder and cracked a bone in my arm. I had some physiotherapy through the hospital for some weeks but felt I needed more one to one help with my specific needs in the gym. My flexibility and movement has greatly improved. Quincy is very personable and I have really enjoyed my sessions with him.

I’ve had a great experience with Quincy! I started working with him because I had terrible form on the deadlift. I’m now lifting twice as much with good form. And he’s helped me more generally get in shape, always focusing on getting the technique correct, which I appreciate.
I also asked Quincy to work with my dad during a visit, who hadn’t formally exercised in decades and was dealing with health problems. After a few sessions with Quincy, he was feeling much more confident in his exercise and has continued doing so back home. This has helped him with his health problems as well. I could not be more appreciative of that.

This is the second time I’ve signed up for personal training with Quincy and I’ve done it because training with Quincy has really worked for me. Quincy has got me training correctly, doing the form for various exercises precisely and he’s pushed me past limits in terms of what I can do (a 240kg deadlift for example) I never imagined I could get even near to. I’ve better posture, feel stronger, more energy. Also Quincy is a really nice bloke, very easy to get on with. And he’s cut - you know he really knows how this exercise things works, he knows the mechanics and the science. I would totally recommend.

Quincy tailored the sessions to meet my specific rehabilitation needs. He clearly put a lot of time into designing the sessions which were full of variety and a lot of fun. Quincy challenged me within my injury capabilities but made sure there was no risk of damage to my hip. He had a thorough understanding of how the body works and I still managed to work up a sweat even with limited movement. I left each session feeling exhilarated. The sessions were held close to my work and Sam was very flexible with availability times.
I highly recommend Quincy as your Personal Trainer. Thanks to Quincy’s assistance my physio was stunned with my improvement and after only a couple of months with Quincy I was strong enough to undertake training on my own, although I know I will return to Quincy after my next surgery or just because I enjoyed it so much!

He quickly identified my back problems before I mentioned them, he asked about my goals and we kicked off.
