I qualified in 2012 as a Master Trainer at the European Institute of Fitness.

I first started training when I was 15 years old and quickly developed a passion for Health and Fitness. The career path was an obvious choice as I have a natural ability to coach and motivate people to understand and trust in my methods, and from this, I get and expect amazing results along with the skills I have developed to be able to design effective training programmes for individuals and tailor their needs.

My passion is to help people change their lives in the simplest and most realistic way possible. I believe everyone deserves the right to good health and to be happy with themselves, inside and out.

Getting fit and healthy does not have to be difficult but it often is.

Awesome PT, worked with him for a few months now and seeing great progress visually and health wise. Recommend this PT to anyone looking for a good PT without those expensive in gym PT people and someone that pushes you at a good pace with great fun routines and also helps with nutrition.

I was given a perfect exercise and nutrition plan! Ricki always replies to your message at any time and weekly feedback is great - keeps you going! 4 weeks so far and I can feel the difference already: better muscle definition, strength, full of energy too!!

I have worked with lots of Personal Trainers over the years. So many trainers don't put any work into structuring a training schedule. There is no way you can change your shape with one session per week. Some Personal Trainers will give you one random session, there is no programming and they ask you to track on my fitness pal to then see you next week (checking your food diary 5 mins before the session) for another random unplanned session. Rick gives you a structured exercise plan, nutrition plan, weekly feedback, and the ability to ask questions throughout the week. He actually looks at your body and posture and I can tell the plan he writes is not generic. I really enjoy the sessions, I like the structure and I can track my progress and strength improvements. How many PTs out there don't even record what weights you lift? the reps? how your fitness is improving? I think with some personal trainers, you have a one-to-one exercise class! Please don't be put off by online personal training, I am so glad I took the plunge and trusted the reviews I read. I just wish I'd found him sooner as quite frankly some of the personal trainers that are out there taking your money are not only a waste of money, but a waste of time too. So if your trainer runs your sessions a little bit off the cuff? With no session plan, no layout and no idea what they’re doing today? If they ummahh about what exercise to choose and become a little flustered. Chances are, they are rubbish! If they aren’t planning out your sessions and adhering to your programming, then they’re setting you up for failure from the start. Don’t waste your money on an unprepared idiot, and give Rick a try!

I've just joined Rick and everything has been great so far I have lost 1kg within a week. The support and advice are amazing. for example, there wasn't a particular machine at the gym I texted Ricki at 6.30 am in the morning whilst in the gym and Ricki replied within minutes and switched to a machine that was there. I am very confident that I will reach the goals that I want In a relatively short space of time.

Everything about the way Ricki sets up the program is amazing. He is always checking in to make sure that you are doing well. He is monitoring your progress and sending you personal messages even when not expected. He does go through your progress thoroughly to ensure that you fully understand what you need to do. He adapts the program to your style to ensure that you stay motivated.

I'm about to start my fourth 8-week phase with Ricki. So far each phase has been markedly different from the last with Ricki designing a plan that fits with my requirements at the time, taking into account my work commitment, my available equipment and even adapting for COVID lockdown requirements! Over the last few months, other people have definitely been impressed by the rate at which I lost weight from the first Lockdown, I would have never been able to do it this quickly without Ricki’s plan. I am pleased to continue, now focusing on fitness. I always feel that I know what to do each session, and am confident in quick support if I am unsure. It makes it feel that I can make a really efficient use of my exercising time. Definitely recommended!

I have worked with quite a few personal trainers and what I like about Ricki is that he sets really realistic goals and checks in with me regularly to see how I’m doing. It helps me to know that someone else is cheering me on when I have a good week or even if I have a not-so-good week. After being in a rut for several months, I am delighted to say I am back on track and the weight is dropping off!!

I’ve always been super active and interested in working out. I would run a lot and head to the gym a few times a week. Problem was... I didn’t know what I was doing. I found Rick on a random Google search and thought it was time to give this type of personal training a go. I’ve never needed someone to push me to work out, just someone to guide me through what I should do. Rick has been doing just that for over four months with me and he is constantly able to respond and answer questions when needed. Nutrition has been a huge change in my lifestyle but he makes sure you can adapt it to the lifestyle you have. I’m trying to build muscle and go up in weight and he has taught me how to properly control what I eat to make that a reality. I’ve never thought twice about what I eat since I’ve always been a slim guy. Highly recommend him... and my wife thinks you’re doing a great job too. Not sure where most of his clients come from but being a non-Brit hasn’t been an issue at all. He puts up with my weird English explanations and it feels like he is always at your service when needed. Take the chance, wherever you are in the world, and let Rick teach you a thing or two!

I’ve been working with Ricki for a few months now. Having suffered from 3 slipped discs for over a year I was very nervous to start training once more. Ricki gave me real confidence to get going. I’m delighted with my physical progress and know I can contact Ricki at any time should there be an exercise that doesn’t suit me or is too uncomfortable. The sessions are challenging but the app allows you to see straight away your progress in terms of personal bests etc which is really good as previously I wrote everything down. My mental health has improved enormously and I feel more energised and confident I can achieve my goals. I can wholeheartedly recommend Ricki and look forward to what I can achieve as my sessions progress.

I’ve been training with Ricki for over 2 years and still continue to learn new and interesting information about my health and fitness. I came to him originally to gain some muscle size and reduce my body fat, as I hadn’t exercised properly in 3-4 years since completing university, furthermore I had a long term lower back injury that used to hinder my life considerably. I’m like most people, regularly attending the gym for many years, but without any proper knowledge of what I was actually doing.
Within minutes of meeting Ricki and speaking with him with regards to his training ideas and methodology, I knew he was the right man for me to work with. He is an exceptional trainer and his enthusiasm, desire, planning and organisation are exceptional, along with a very solid nutritional and exercise knowledge base.
. However. the most important thing is Ricki makes the whole experience fun and I look forward to every session as two sessions are never the same. As I spend most of the day looking after others it is great when I can leave most of thinking to him. Ricki has a very loyal long term client base and I am proud to say I am part of that.

I signed up for training sessions as my levels of fitness had reduced significantly in the pandemic and I had put on weight leading to a lack of confidence I was very nervous at the beginning at the thought of training but knew I would not be able to achieve without a trainer and nutrition advice, but I have to say its probably the best decision I have made! Ricki has listened to what my worries and concerns were and put a plan in place developed specifically for me. Could not ask for more.

Can’t recommend Ricki enough. The difference in having a coach is massive. Even if you think you know what you need to do, the power of accountability is huge. Ricki is super supportive, very knowledgeable, and quick to respond to any questions throughout the week, and two months in I’m seeing great progress in terms of weight loss, strength and muscle gain, and general fitness and well being. Highly recommended. If you’ve been thinking about getting an online coach, don’t hesitate any longer. You’ll get results. decision you’ve made.

Looking back to last year just the thought of putting on my wedding dress and having photos taken scared me to death let alone going on my honeymoon and putting on a bathing suit!
Then I started training with Ricki and things got better, my clothes started to fit better, people noticed I was looking healthier and I could walk a few flights of stairs without feeling as if I ran a marathon.
During the cold winter mornings there were times I thought it was too hard and I wanted to give up; however all the hard work Ricki had put in with me kept me motivated to keep going.
Now putting on that dress and bathing suit does not scare me in the slightest, all the hard work has paid off, I am extremely happy with the way I look, and I have not felt this fit or healthy in years!
Although it may not have seemed like it while I was training, but I thoroughly enjoy my sessions, each week and Ricki was so easy to get along with (under the circumstances!). He was very helpful, extremely accommodating and let’s not forget encouraging and motivating, but the best part of all is that he genuinely cared about his clients!

I’ve been training with Ricki for almost 3 years now, and believe he is one of the most experienced & committed trainers around. I started training once a week, as part of a group session, really enjoyed the variety & challenge he put into the sessions & then took on a personal one-on-one session as well!
I must be a glutton for punishment.
Ricki is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging (& somehow fun). My fitness has increased noticeably and I have seen enormous improvements in my ability to complete more sit ups / core exercises, lift progressively heavier weights & generally push myself harder throughout each session. I find I actually look forward to my workouts.
Importantly:
– He ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries.
– He is extremely reliable & punctual – always set up & ready to start training ahead of time, with an exercise routine planned.
I thoroughly enjoy working out in the outdoor environment, and would recommend Ricki & his team to anyone looking to improve their fitness with a dedicated group of trainers.

I would highly recommend training with Ricki. I plucked up the courage to contact Ricki after a personal recommendation from a friend regarding personal training sessions and at the time was very nervous about going to a gym, as I had had previously bad experiences in the past.

Ricki is very friendly, personable and welcoming; each session is different and motivating. You can see the dedication he has for his job. I never thought I would like going to a gym, let alone be able to use half the equipment and keep motivated but those fears have long become a myth. I have lost 3 stone, my blood pressure has improved significantly and I’m generally a much more positive happier person, I can’t believe the change in me, what a difference a year makes.
