Hi, I’m Ross ,
I am based in the Grove Wellbeing Centre on the Shore Road in Belfast.
I have been a Personal Trainer for 5 years now and have been in a gym environment for almost 10 years. From being at physio to recover from a football injury is where I found my love for the gym and training.
I believe that there is more to fitness than just looking good with your shirt off. I want people to feel confident and improve their overall wellbeing. I want people to reach their goals and feel great both during and after.
Whether you’re just looking to lose weight, build muscle, improve in a sport specific environment or to just simply feel better about yourself. I will help you every step of the way. As a lady of advancing years, I was aware of the importance of strength training to ensure I remained fit, active and mobile. I was nervous about starting strength training, but Ross made it feel safe and approachable from the start.
Ross places a big focus on teaching good form and always takes the time to explain exercises clearly. That’s really helped build my confidence as well as my strength.
Ross is also a genuinely pleasant person to train with—friendly, patient, and encouraging. I always left sessions feeling stronger and more positive.

I met Ross about 3 years ago and has been the PT I go back to time and time again. Ross has always been a very supportive PT, understanding what I need to get out of each session. I am quite an anxious person who embarrasses easily which has always put me off going to the gym. Ross has always helped me feel comfortable in the gym and has helped to boost my confidence when training. Ross is also very accommodating, knowing my schedule can change frequently with having kids and prior commitments, he does his best to accommodate his clients. Ross is kind, personable, supportive and challenges me when he feels I can do more. Everything I need in a PT. Highly recommend and will continue to go back to him

I have trained with Ross for over three years. I joined PT to keep me accountable on the lead up to my wedding. After that Ross trained me right up until I was 36 weeks pregnant and also post partum. Sessions were tailored and always pushed me to my limits with a little rant and laugh along the way. I also did his boot camps which I would recommend if you’re looking a friendly group dynamic.

Ross was great when I was referred following a serious knee injury. He understood the limitations of the injury and built up my confidence to start using the knee again. Iv'e been training for over 40yrs, I thought I knew a lot, I kept getting injuries while training, due to mainly lifting to heavy weights I believed. I suffered a major knee injury 3 years ago, so I thought I'd give ross a few weeks to see how I get on, firstly ross is a very polite and mild mannered young man, actually very understanding of what your capabilities are. I can honestly say that my knee and legs in general have never felt so strong, I believe I suffered old injuries due to improper technic which ross has put right.
I only meant to give ross a month, but 4 months later I'm still learning, would definitely recommend this young man as not only is he very knowledgeable but also very easy to get along with.

Ross has been my PT for almost a year. I have complex medical conditions and Ross immediately researched my conditions so he had a greater understanding of them and what my limitations are. He's been nothing but excellent from the very start. He's also a good laugh, which makes PT much more enjoyable.

I trained with Ross for a few years, started out as a complete newbie, very nervous, very unfit. After first six weeks I felt so much better, making progress with losing weight but also gaining confidence with weights. Ross always had sessions planned well, and adjusted things when needed. Highly recommend starting with a PT if you are considering strength training, you will gain a lot of knowledge from Ross. The bootcamps and spin classes he ran were also really good fun!

As a young mum who works full time it’s hard to prioritise yourself and do something for you every Sunday Pt and bootcamps with Ross gave me the confidence of getting my body back, appreciating my body and prioritising myself- Ross is very professional but also friendly if you want someone who you can have a laugh with but who will push you to do your best and achieve your goals and encourage you to keep moving and believe in yourself then Ross is the PT for you he will help you get to where you want to be and push you to reach every goal and more. Ross is a fantastic PT. He is very patient. His sessions are challenging but he knows just how far to push you. His instructions are clear and he explains the muscle groups he is working on. He also makes his sessions fun. I was frightened by the thought of visiting a gym but Ross has changed my opinion.
His boot camps are also really worthwhile and a good place to start and then progress to PT sessions.
