I’m Sam, Personal Trainer here at Dorking Sports centre.

I’m easy going, approachable and I love meeting people. I thrive off of seeing others enjoy my sessions and not only achieve their health and fitness goals but also build confidence and their strength of mind along the way.

With over 15 years experience of various sports and fitness disciplines (Crossfit, Rugby, rock climbing, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, powerlifting and triathlon to name a few!) I rely on all of this experience to my clients benefit, utilising different techniques and styles tailored towards their individual goals.

I can also empathise with peoples barriers to health and wellbeing, having battled multiple injuries and illnesses over the years myself. I have overcome these obstacles with a positive mindset and got back to fitness, training multiple times a week and taking on difficult fitness challenges along the way!

Qualification in Self Myofascial Release (foam rolling)
Activity First Aid qualified with St Johns Ambulance.

I cannot recommend Sam enough!
After suffering from a slipped disc injury, I was struggling to regain my strength and mobility. I was only going to do a few sessions and then carry on myself but Sam is so good at pitching the sessions just right and giving the push to do my best. He spends time to truly personalise sessions to whatever your goals are, and takes into account any niggles, changing sessions on the spot if needed. I'm still signing up months later!

I was one of these people who didn’t think they needed a personal trainer, fairly motivated to go to the gym, and felt that I was doing ‘ok’, but honestly, deciding to have personal training sessions was one of the best decisions I’ve made, it’s made such a difference. Sam is very patient and explains everything clearly, but will give you a little push to get you out of your comfort zone when needed. Highly recommended.

Sam is a brilliant professional PT.
Sam listens intently when you are discussing your fitness needs and goals.
I have been super impressed with the training I have completed so far with Sam, I have definitely noticed the change in my strength since starting with Sam 7 weeks ago.
