My approach is built on the belief that training should be purposeful, enjoyable, and tailored to you. I can’t recommend Scott enough. I’ve struggled with my physical and mental health for a while and needed a PT that was readily available, willing to listen and work with me at my pace. Scott did all of this. As a result of working with Scott my prolonged lower back issues have gone, Scott has given me various home stretches and basic exercises I can incorporate into my busy life and educated me on what is going on with my back issues. My mental health has increased as a result.
In addition to the above Scott is a likeable person, with a kind demeanour who is very easy to work with. Your money will be well spent!

I had a taster session with Scott. Very informative and well prepared. He focused on areas that I wanted to work on and gave a detailed assessment on areas where he could help. Very professional and knowledgeable but also easy to talk to. As a result, I will be signing up for some more sessions.

A year ago I was struggling with knee pain so nervous of doing any lower body work. By helping me focus on mobility and form I've made huge progress.
I love the programs he gave me - they keep me engaged and working hard, improving each week. As a result this is the longest I've been so consistent.

Scott is very patient to repeat the coaching points so i remember. I always hear his words "these are the ones that count" when I'm on my final reps. 🤣

I really enjoy training with Scott and would recommend him to anyone. Be prepared to lift more than you think you can.

Scott is the best trainer I could possibly have asked for. I am a very reluctant gym goer and Scott completely took this in his stride. This meant that he pushed me and challenged me to do more when I needed it but also was gentle with me when I was doubting myself And struggling to do anything. Scott is super careful about preparing you well for PT sessions so you avoid injuries. He’s also incredibly knowledgeable about the way the body works and is analytical in helping you to improve certain movements. This didn’t always make sense to me but I saw the outcomes of it so know it works. I couldn’t recommend Scott more highly and I’m very grateful to have worked with him.

I honestly do recommend Scott Groninger as a personal trainer for anyone of any fitness level. From day one, he took the time to listen to my goals and understood why I was returning to the gym although I was a regular for a few years several years ago myself.
Genuinely created a fully tailored experience, included a detailed weekly diet plan with nutritional guidance, protein breakdowns with clear explanations of the benefits behind each choice specific to me with my current eating habits and what foods I’m eating and what I like to eat in mind, didn’t feel like much of a change although it actually was.
Saw the results mentally as well as physically first and foremost I will add for sure!

His support, very surprisingly, also extended beyond gym sessions itself. On days I wasn’t training with him, he sent me specific exercises and stretching videos for me to do in the mornings and explained why they would help which genuinely made a difference. He also checked in regularly outside of the gym to see how I was getting on and whether I needed any additional support, which I found both motivating and encouraging. He was there, even when he actually wasn’t with me, which of course made me feel like i had support and great encouragement which I actually needed more than anything if I may admit.

Scott’s professionalism, knowledge, and ability to make complex information easy to understand and digestible is something that definitely sets him apart. He’s approachable, easy to communicate with and a great teacher who always puts his clients needs first. I was able to get back into a consistent routine and feel comfortable in the gym again, really gave me the ‘mental push’ I actually needed more importantly not just the physical side of things.

If you want a knowledgeable, supportive, and dedicated personal trainer who actually does go above and beyond, which will get you to see results more importantly and I mean this both physically and mentally, I strongly and only recommend Scott Groninger.

Training with Scott has been exactly what I needed. He was able to quickly identify hyper-mobility and built a brilliant programme to build strength which I could quickly see and feel making a huge difference in terms of hip and lower back pain - which without realising, I was making worse while training and running independently. Scott makes training fun and enjoyable yet really effective and I would highly recommend!

I honestly can’t recommend Scott enough. From day one, he’s been amazing at helping me improve my form, making sure I’m training safely but also pushing myself past what I thought I could do. The difference I’ve seen in my strength and muscle tone has been so motivating — it feels really good to see real results.

What really sets him apart is how knowledgeable and supportive he is. He has so many helpful tips and tricks, whether it’s about recovery, stretches, or what to do if you’ve pulled a muscle or something feels off. He always explains the ‘why’ behind what we’re doing, which makes the sessions not just effective but educational too.

Every session is challenging in the best way, and I leave feeling stronger, more confident, and excited to keep going. If you’re looking for a PT who genuinely cares about your progress and knows how to get the best out of you, (and if you’re geeky like Scott and I and like to discuss the universe and pyramids) then Scott is the one!!
