I'm Arden, a personal trainer with a passion for empowering others to embrace their health and fitness journey. My path began in Sussex, where I discovered my calling to make a difference in people's lives.

Equipped with a nursing science degree from the University of Brighton, I bring a deep understanding of the body's functions to my practice. My years of experience providing compassionate care to patients have honed my knowledge of anatomy and physiology, giving me a well-informed perspective on how to optimise health and fitness.

Through personal training, I merge my expertise with my joy of teaching to create a well-rounded approach to fitness. I tailor workouts to suit each individual's needs, ensuring that you not only achieve your goals but also understand the science behind your progress.

As a member of the LGBT+ community, I understand the importance of representation and visibility in the fitness industry. I'm here to show that everyone deserves the opportunity to prioritise their health, regardless of identity. I also have a deep understanding of both the barriers to engaging in health and fitness, and the adaptations that can be made to make it more accessible.

In my sessions, I empower you to take ownership of your health by providing you with the knowledge and tools that you need to succeed. Whether it's explaining the benefits of certain exercises or debunking common fitness myths, I strive to demystify the world of health and fitness and to create a safe and supportive environment for you to reach your fitness goals.

I’ve only had a few sessions with Arden and I already cannot recommend them more highly! They are incredibly friendly and make you feel comfortable and welcome from the start. Their knowledge is second to none and is a testament to their dedication to their job plus, their determination to help everyone.

They explain everything clearly and always ensure that I’m using the correct techniques, which has made such a difference to my confidence. Their positive attitude is infectious, and they always encourage me to push myself while respecting my limits. They’re also there to give a helping hand or advice when we’re not in a session.

Whether you’re new to fitness or looking to step up your routine, Arden is the person to see. I always leave our sessions feeling motivated and supported!

I started training with Arden a couple of months ago and I am really enjoying it. He is laser focused on my requirements - which sounds obvious but I have had trainers in the past that do what they want rather than what you want. I find Arden to be very conscious of everything I am doing ie correcting posture etc. and able to mix it up if equipment is not available. I initially sign up for three months but will likely continue as I am seeing positive results and Arden is such a pleasure to train with.

Arden has been training me for the past couple of months and through their guidance and encouragement I have seen real changes in my physical abilities and in my mindset, particularly in regards to confidence and enjoyment of the gym! It helps that they are also a fun person to be around and we have good chats. I like that they continue to challenge me and provide stretch goals to help me maintain motivation. I also like the attention to detail around what each movement or exercise is doing for the different muscles, it's a great science lesson! My partner has now begun training with Arden too so must be good 👍🏼

My training needs are pretty specific in terms of the performance I want to achieve. Ie: being able to run across a field bearing considerable weighted kit and then not collapse in a breathless broken heap at the end of it. And then to be able to do that again and again and again. Arden was able to understand and appreciate my needs and then developed a tailored program optimised for where I am in my current level of fitness (low), where I want to be, and the time I'm able to invest on a weekly basis. They were able to talk me through the exercises and explain not only the benefits that each provides, bur tips on sequencing and the best way to get the most out of each training session. The outcome? An informed and highly tailored training program that meets my needs as well as expert advice for each step of the way, giving me confidence that I can meet my goals (not dying in a heap in a corner of the field!)

Would highly recommend them if you are looking for a PT who can advise and coach you with sensitivity and understanding.

I have been training with Arden for a few months now and I couldn’t be more impressed with his expertise and dedication. I am preparing to climb Kilimanjaro and Arden has been instrumental in my journey towards achieving this goal.

From the beginning, Arden demonstrated good understanding of the physical and mental demands of such a challenging endeavour. He has designed a personalised training program tailored specifically to my needs, focusing on building strength, endurance and overall fitness. Every session is well-structured, varied and he always pushes me to my limits in the best possible way.

It’s extra helpful that Arden is a medical professional as well so understands the physiology also. I am becoming stronger, more confident in the gym and well prepared. To anyone looking for a knowledgeable, professional and fun trainer then Arden is your man!

Arden is incredibly knowledgeable and understanding, tailoring exercises and routines to what fits me best. I immediately felt welcomed and understood as I explained what I needed from personal training and within a very short time Arden was able to construct a full workout plan and regime for me to follow that took into account my body's limitations.

During sessions Arden is supportive and pushes you to get the best results for yourself, and full understands that everyone is different in their needs and capabilities. With their background working as a nurse Arden has a wealth of knowledge about how the body reacts to training and what best paths to go down to get the most out of your workouts. Arden is happy to adapt workouts when I struggle, for instance, I have terrible balance so we have already been able to change some exercises to ones that don't require much balancing but still target the same muscle groups.

Arden is GREAT, so friendly and amicable and easy to get along with, plus with their wealth of knowledge, I'd immediately recommend them to anyone seeking PT sessions.

Arden is a skilled, knowledgeable and personable PT who is able to understand how difficult building a positive relationship with fitness can be. I am someone who is neurodivergent and very much struggles with anxiety, I found that Arden was able to meet me where I am at both in terms of ability and confidence to create a program and provide guidance that is suited to me and my needs. Working with Arden I am able to progress at a rate that I am comfortable with, while being supported and encouraged to expand my comfort zone.

Arden has a vast knowledge of health and fitness and is able to use their experience working as a nurse and educator to work with a science based approach to fitness and keep me well informed of the reasons behind what I am doing in the gym.

Arden has listened and adapted to my feedback as an individual about what I want more or less of, what sort of things I struggle with, and what I find fun. I feel supported, informed, and challenged appropriately.
