Fitness has been a lifelong journey for me, from the discipline of martial arts and weightlifting to working as a stunt performer in film and TV. These experiences have shaped how I approach training today. Martial arts taught me consistency, especially on the days where motivation is low. In stunt work, nothing happens unless it’s safe, I bring that same standard into my coaching, helping you train with purpose while reducing the risk of injury or burnout.

My goal as a trainer is to share what I’ve learned and help others find confidence in their own strength. From lifting heavier and moving faster, to simply feeling better day to day, I focus on building strength that’s practical, resilient, and long-lasting. I also offer boxing pad work, a great way to boost cardio, improve coordination, and relieve stress.

Whether you’re completely new to training, looking to improve performance, or simply want to feel better in your body, I’ll guide you step by step, with no pressure and full support.

I started training with Waiku after reaching out for help to build a more developed fitness routine. He was supportive and really took the time to understand my goals. Waiku is very good at working towards your goals and for me has been very good to work gradually as I have an injury, he makes sure that any exercise I do will not worsen it.
I would definitely recommend Waiku whether you need to get back onto fitness or want to build on the level you are currently.

I was totally new to the gym and had never worked with a personal trainer before, so I wasn't sure what to expect and was a bit nervous, but it's been such a great experience. My trainer Waiku is super friendly and made me feel comfortable from the start. He tailored each session to suit my fitness level and explained everything in a really easy to understand way. I actually look forward to every session, they are fun, and I've started to feel much more confident and motivated in the gym. I highly recommend!
